A concrete countertop can be customized to fit any style or need.
Some of the major advantages are....
| |
- Our countertops possess a compressive strength of between 6,000 and 8,000 PSI. However, we do not recommend that you place hot pans directly on the surface because it will affect the wax that is buffed onto the surface. An excellent solution is to incorporate granite / stone on metal inlays around hand use areas for placing hot pans upon.
-
Concrete is a naturally porous material and in an unsealed state can easily stain. However, cutting directly on the surface will affect the durability of the applied sealant, making it susceptible to stains. The best alternative is to use a cutting board to protect your cutlery and your countertops.
